The sole purpose of the Family Fund is to provide assistance to all Team Members of the NbC system and their families who are impacted by an emergency, disaster, or personal hardship, including situations involving death, medical emergency, financial emergency, and physical or natural disasters
- Those eligible to receive assistance include Team Members of Bakery Owners, Support Team, SHIPP, and their dependents
- The Fund may provide short or long-term assistance in many forms
- For example, the Fund may provide emergency, short-term financial assistance to meet a variety of needs, including physical and mental health care, housing, and education; the Fund may also provide ongoing assistance with longer-term needs, including housing, childcare, tuition, and physical and mental health care
- Donations are tax deductible as the Fund is a qualified 501(c)3 charity
